Adapters - AX15 to Model 300 adapter is 0.75" thick
for a combined length of 24.75". The adapter provides
the proper spacing and clocking of the 300 to clear the front
output yoke. The transfer case will sit just below level.
Pre-installed
Heli-Coils add to the strength of the adapter and O-ring
seals keep the system sealed. All hardware required is included.
Shifter modifications are generally required.
The
AX15 makes for a good five-speed overdrive transmission
conversion into post-'79 Jeep CJ's.
